The aim of this blog is to record, and particularly to share the experience lived along the project « Europe-Africa : people working together for sustainable growth ». This project will take place in Kinshasa, from 15/08/2014 to 15/10/2014. It puts together two groups of 3 blind and sighted youngsters coming from Belgium and French Guiana.
Objectives:
From the 2nd of September 2013 until the 13th of July 2014 I’ve been hosted in Views International executive office, thanks to a grundtvig Assistantship project founded by the Lifelong Learning Programme.
As the previous experience I had, this one enriched me a lot too.

After a long preparation process and lots of work, between 27th of May and 3rd of June 2014 VIEWS Belgium in Partnership with VIEWS International realized one more big project. It took place in Liege Belgium with participants from 6 countries(Belgium, Poland, Romania, Guyane, Martinique, Guadeloupe). The project was a study visit, conducted under the motto “Between formal and non-formal education”.
An unforgettable youth exchange - « Le 1000 facce dell'Europa (the 1000 facets of Europe) » - from 1st to 10th May 2014
We went to the north of Italy, in Torino, for an exchange between young people from Italy, Belgium and France (which was represented by Guiana and Martinique).

The objective of this exchange was to discover art and to be able to do some artistic activities in spite of the different handicaps of people.
The youth exchange "le 1000 facce dell'Europa", in english "the 1000 Europe facets" is a youth exchange which will be organised by Eufemia association in Turin (Italy) from 1st until 10th of May 2014.
Young people from Belgium, Martinique (FR) and Italy will participate at this exchange.
The objectives are to favorise the meeting between people from different cultures in order to
produce an European artistic creation, it means, a creation who can reinforce their feeling to be european citizens.

From 8-th to 12-th January the seminar “Looking for more” took place in Sólheimar in Iceland,small ecological village, situated on 2 hours by bus from the capital Reykjavik. VIEWS International sent three representatives. The participated countries were Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Italy, Poland and Romania.
The seminar was concentrated on the new program “Erasmus plus”. The facilitators from Iceland and Finland informed the participants for the differences, comparing with the previous European program “Youth in action.

During my 6-months youth work mobility project, I acquired new skills that I consider useful for the labour market and for my personal development too: I improved, for instance, English and French skills, European project management and design, communicational skills, time management skills, intercultural comprehension and team spirit.
I worked in a multicultural environment and I could experience the European dimension of the youth work.
