Views International now has partners in 21 countries, an international Board of Directors and various working groups that work together to improve certain aspects of our tasks.
These facts imply that members often need to talk with people in countries abroad. Of course, Skype is an easy and cheap way to do so. However, when a good Internet connection is not at hand, a Skype conference can turn into a painful and frustrating experience.
The Board of Directors was especially victim of these painstaking cessions. But thanks to our president, Giulia Pagoni, we stumbled upon an easy, free and good quality solution.
The service is called TalkYoo. The idea is that you call a local phone number in your country (See the list below). When prompted, you enter the following number: 827 124 followed by the pound key (#). You will be in VIEWS International private conference room. So you just decide of a time and date to meet and all invited parties drop by in that room. There are a few niceties you can do to improve your experience but let's keep it simple for now.
And for those Skype unconditional, there is also a way to use the service with Skype, just connect to talkyoo_skype and when the call is answered type again 827 124 # (NB: Acoustic tones must be enabled).
